Company anniversary in the snow

We celebrated this year's company anniversary of iLIMS GmbH together with partners and families in Oberwiesenthal. On Friday evening we reached the snowy Panoramahote in the Erzgebirge. After the last guests had arrived and moved into their rooms, all participants met at the hotel buffet and let the evening come to a relaxed end.

After a joint breakfast on Saturday, the motto was "Grow your skis and get up on the slopes". While some colleagues were skiing down the slopes, others took the cross-country skiers for a ride in the winter forest in perfect weather. The rest of the colleagues took the gondola up to the Fichtelberg and then made their way through snow, some of it knee-deep, down to the valley. After a short break in the afternoon, precision and skill were required for the subsequent curling. The mulled wine served at the cold temperatures warmed and lifted the spirits at the same time. All those who could not get anything out of the cold activity enjoyed the luxurious wellness area in the hotel. We spent the evening together in the hotel's fireplace room. A short flashback to the history of the software company from Dresden was given by managing director Bernd Koschitzki. Afterwards a sumptuous buffet was served, which left nothing to be desired. After dinner, conversation was held in a relaxed atmosphere before live music called for dancing. While the majority of the company slowly retreated at a late hour, the hard-boiled colleagues rushed down to the valley on "Porutschern" toboggans at night. Sunday was dedicated to regeneration and a relaxed journey home in the afternoon.

Looking back, we can look back on a communal weekend with excellent winter weather and are looking forward to the next excursion.
