Laboratory solutions at the LIMS Forum

This year, the well-known LIMS Forum took place for the 18th time from November 13 to 14, 2018. Users and providers of laboratory software use the forum at Forschungszentrum Jülich to exchange experience and information. The trade journal Laborpraxis titled the user meeting: "The concentrated LIMS expertise in Jülich".

The highlight of the technical presentations this year was the presentation by Dr. Karina Häbig from Cenata. She explained in detail the challenges of the LIMS introduction at Cenata and compared them with the benefits of the introduced laboratory software. In her opinion the intensive cooperation between LIMS user and provider plays a decisive role for the successful project implementation.

We are looking forward to the next LIMS Forum, which is expected to take place in Jülich from October 22 to 23, 2019.
