Paul-Ehrlich-Institut relies on iLIMS

The Paul-Ehrlich-Institut has chosen the iLIMS solution from INTEGRIS LIMS GmbH following the call for tenders for the installation of a laboratory information management system. The introduction of the laboratory information and management system aims to establish a new, powerful LIMS application that covers the tasks of product testing at the Paul Ehrlich Institute comprehensively and in a future-proof manner. This also includes the plan to largely dispense with paper-based documentation at the PEI in the future.

The new LIMS is intended to replace the in-house developed system currently in use and also offers new functional enhancements. The introduction of the new LIMS is intended to efficiently support product testing workflows in the accredited laboratory areas of the Paul Ehrlich Institute. This includes ensuring high work quality and data security. This is to be achieved through greater electronic processing, storage and provision of the data generated, so that the proportion of paper-based processes is reduced
