Our Developers at JUG Saxony Day 2024
On September 26 and 27, 2024, our developers participated in JUG Saxony Day — Saxony's largest IT community conference. The event provided an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences among IT professionals. Our colleagues not only attended exciting presentations on current trends and technologies but also gained fascinating insights into the field of artificial intelligence (AI).
One of the highlights was the discussion on the latest features in Java 22 and 23, which particularly caught our interest after our recent migration from Java 8 to Java 17. This transition was a major milestone for us, and the new features in the upcoming Java versions offer great potential for future projects.
With over 700 participants from the IT community and a wide range of presentations, including talks from well-known speakers in the industry, JUG Saxony Day was a fantastic opportunity to not only network with like-minded individuals in software development but also to expand knowledge in areas like architecture and agile methodologies. Our colleague from the consulting team was also present and brought back valuable insights for our customer projects.
At the raffle, our colleagues were lucky enough to win subscriptions to IT-Spektrum and Java-Spektrum — a nice ending to a fantastic event.
Events like this are invaluable to us for staying up to date with the latest technologies and fostering exchange with the community. The many insights we gained will help us continue to develop forward-thinking and high-performance solutions.
