Everyone knows it! Around Christmas time, the calendar is full of events - Secret Santa in the daycare center, Christmas market, Advent afternoons, baking cookies with friends, Christmas celebrations in the family. In addition, there is the search for and procurement of presents in crowded stores, so that the peace and quiet and contemplation is often not enough.

In order to avoid straining the appointment calendar with another Christmas party, we have outsourced the celebration at iLIMS. Of course we already visited the Christmas market in December after work, but the actual Christmas party took place a few days ago in the cooking studio in Dresden.

After the champagne reception in the spacious loft, two groups were formed. While one team was busy preparing the dishes, the other took care of mixing the drinks. Under professional guidance exotic cocktails like Southern Ginger, Almond Sour or Disaronno Sour were mixed and distributed. The preparation of the meal was also instructed and with helpful tricks and tips from the chef, the whole thing can also be recooked at home. The jointly prepared starter creation consisted of smoked fillet of skip with carrot salad. For the main course there was a classic Christmassy style with braised leg of duck, winter vegetables and potato strudel. The whole thing was rounded off with mascarpone cream with spicy plums and vanilla espuma. After the delicious meal, the iLIMS employees sat together with partners, chatted and enjoyed the evening without having to think about Christmas preparations - perhaps the beginning of a long-lasting tradition...
