The Tübingen laboratory Cenata, a subsidiary of the biotech company CeGaT and the Enders laboratory, conducts the Harmony test as the sole licensee throughout Germany. This test determines the risk of numerical chromosome disorders in the unborn child based on a blood sample from the mother through DNA analysis. To manage the samples and laboratory orders, Cenata has commissioned CSS LIMS GmbH to implement our laboratory software iLIMS. Dr. Häbig justifies the decision with the high flexibility of iLIMS, which other providers could not offer to this extent. iLIMS will cover the entire process at Cenata from the dispatch of the kits, through the sample receipt and sample processing, to invoicing. Additionally, the iLIMS financial accounting will be used for the collection of direct debits and payment control.
