Special solution for biotechnology
On October 27, 2015, our annual Customer Day took place at the offices of CSS LIMS GmbH. Unlike previous years, we limited the number of participants and were able to welcome our guests in our office premises. This allowed everyone the opportunity to get to know the employees of CSS LIMS personally and to get answers to their questions.
The topics were suggested by the participants themselves in advance, thus helping to determine the agenda. Our concern that individual presentations would only be interesting for a few turned out to be unfounded. The diversity of the represented industries and types of laboratories was particularly highlighted, as it allowed for a broader perspective and always provided suggestions for improving one's own processes.
At the beginning, our sales manager, Ms. SchÀfer, was able to demonstrate in a presentation on the live system that we also actively use our system and that effective management of customers and prospects would not be possible without our CRM.
Our latest solution, iLIMS for research, was presented and explained by Dr. Marx on the system. The core of the solution is the management of research orders with experiments and processes based on any number of free parameters and the statistical representation of measurement data in a separate key data evaluation. In the second part, he addressed the special solution for biotechnology. Here, the entire processing of sample assemblies on racks or plates is carried out in an almost fully automated process by tracking self-defined process steps via barcode.
The concept discussion about the chemical management system for iLIMS, which is currently in development, was also exciting. For our customers, the presentation of the already existing functionality and the current state of development was of great interest and provided a taste of the new module. Our open forum on our website was presented, where suggestions on the topic are discussed, so that we can develop the module even closer to customer needs.
The opportunity for conversations with other customers was also positively evaluated. Just by describing their own processes and the use of iLIMS in their respective companies, new perspectives on their own processes and possible alternative solutions in dealing with the laboratory software iLIMS opened up for other customers.
In conclusion, theCustomer Day 2015was positively rated by all participants, and the desire for a similar event next year was expressed. We will be happy to comply with that. We are pleased that the event was so well attended and extensively used as a discussion platform among customers. We would like to thank all guests once again for the extremely constructive day and look forward to the Customer Day next year.
