This year, the renowned LIMS Forum took place for the 18th time from November 13 to 14, 2018. Users and providers of laboratory software use the forum at the Jülich Research Center for experience and information exchange. The trade magazine Laborpraxis titled the user meeting: "The concentrated LIMS expertise in Jülich."
The highlight of the specialist lectures this year was the presentation by Dr. Karina Häbig from the company Cenata. She detailed the challenges of LIMS implementation at Cenata and contrasted them with the benefits of the implemented laboratory software. In her view, the intensive collaboration between LIMS users and providers plays a crucial role in the successful project implementation.
We look forward to the next LIMS Forum, which is expected to take place from October 22 to 23, 2019, in Jülich.
