Also this year, the iLIMS team was present at the 19th LIMS Forum at the Research Center in Jülich, alongside more than 20 different LIMS providers. After a successful company presentation, our booth enjoyed a consistently high number of visitors. The interested parties were particularly impressed by the flexibility and individual configurability of our system. Additionally, the newly developed business processes, the revised capacity planning, and the connection of measuring devices via iControl piqued the interest of the booth visitors.
In addition to personal exchanges with the manufacturers, visitors could also participate in various expert and user contributions. Most guests will likely remember the presentation by André Kiesewalter from ERGO. Because "how a LIMS changes the internal processes of a company" is certainly a topic for every LIMS user. The speaker eloquently guided the audience through the various phases of LIMS implementation and clearly showed how much time and work the introduction of a LIMS entails. However, the conclusion of the presentation was: "The effort is worth it." For more than 7 years, ERGO has been working with a stable and efficient LIMS, which is continuously expanded and can be adapted to new challenges.
