On September 26 and 27, 2024, our developers participated in the JUG Saxony Day â Saxony's largest IT community conference. The event provided a great platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among IT professionals. Our colleagues were able to gain not only exciting presentations on current trends and technologies but also interesting insights into the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Particularly exciting was the discussion about the latest features in Java 22 and 23, which particularly interested us after our recent transition from Java 8 to Java 17. This step was a significant milestone for us, and the new features of the upcoming Java versions offer great potential for future projects.
With over 700 participants from the IT community and a wide range of presentations, including from well-known speakers in the field, the JUG Saxony Day was a great opportunity to further educate ourselves not only with like-minded individuals from software development but also in the areas of architecture and agile methods. Our colleague from consulting was also present and took valuable insights for our client projects.
In the raffle, the colleagues were also lucky enough to win subscriptions to IT-Spektrum and Java-Spektrum â a nice conclusion to a great event.
Such events are invaluable for us to stay up to date with technology and to promote exchange with the community. The many insights we gained will help us continue to develop forward-looking and high-performance solutions. We thank the organizers for the great event and are already looking forward to the next JUG Saxony Day.
