The Paul Ehrlich Institute has decided on the iLIMS solution from INTEGRIS LIMS GmbH after the tender for the installation of a laboratory information management system. The introduction of the laboratory information and management system aims to establish a new, powerful LIMS application that comprehensively and future-proof covers thetasks of product testing at the Paul Ehrlich Institute. This also includes the plan to largelydispense with paper-based documentation.
The new LIMS is to replace the currently used, in-house developed system and also offers new functional extensions. The introduction of the new LIMS is intended to efficiently support workflows in product testing in the accredited laboratory areas of the Paul Ehrlich Institute. This also includes theensuring of high work quality and data security. This is to be achieved through astronger electronic processing, storage, and provision of the data generated so that the proportion of paper-based processes is reduced.
