This year's CSS LIMS company party was held, as last year, together with our partner INTEGRIS. This year we visited Integris in Konz at the Luxembourg border.
After the 640 km drive from Dresden across Germany, we reached the Rhineland on Friday afternoon. After meeting with colleagues and partners, we ended the wonderful day in the vineyard. The Elbling is not only famous for the Rhineland but also linguistically creates a bridge to Dresden. On Saturday morning, we visited the nearby Trier. At the Porta Nigra, the city's landmark, we began our journey into history. We continued with a visit to the Liebfrauenkirche, the cathedral, and the impressive Constantine Basilica. Before we settled down for coffee and cake at the Palais, we made a detour into the cool catacombs of the Kaisertherme. Afterwards, the colleagues dispersed, some to taste the well-known wines of the region, others to explore the Moselle by bike. In the early evening, we met with Integris managing director Thomas Kern, who had invited us to a barbecue and welcomed us with cool drinks in his garden. After hearty steaks, delicious salads, and antipasti, some colleagues played table tennis while others sat comfortably together, enjoying the summer evening with cheerful conversations.
After the joint breakfast on Sunday, the official part of the company outing ended. Some colleagues then began their journey back to Dresden, while others took advantage of the beautiful weather for a detour to Luxembourg or for a hike to the MariensÀule, which offered a great view over the city of Trier. Reflecting on the successful meeting in Konz, the entire Dresden team would like to thank Integris and Thomas Kern for the fabulous organization.
