We are proud that INTEGRIS LIMS was represented as an exhibitor and participant at LABVOLUTION 2023, a leading European trade fair for smart laboratories. Together with over 180 other exhibitors, we presented our solutions for digital laboratory workflows, automation, and quality assurance in the lab.
Particularly impressive was the fourth edition of the "smartLAB" area, an innovative platform where visitors could not only attend lectures and live demonstrations but also try out individual elements of the smartLAB themselves. In collaboration with our partners SmartLab Solutions, TU Dresden, 2mag, essentim, and Better Basics Laboratory Supplies, we presented the automated and quality-assured integration and processing of all data in the LIMS at the technology hub "LADSvolution". Our iLIMS took over the central control and monitoring of all laboratory devices and sensors via the new communication standard LADS (Laboratory and Analytical Device Standard), which is based on the open platform OPC UA.
The German Industry Association for Optics, Photonics, Analytics, and Medical Technology SPECTARIS used the forum of the smartLAB to present this communication standard LADS. The aim is to create a manufacturer-independent, open standard for analysis and laboratory devices and to comprehensively improve workflows in the laboratory technology industry.
