This year's company celebration for the anniversary of iLIMS GmbH was celebrated together with partners and families in Oberwiesenthal. On Friday evening, we reached the deeply snow-covered Panoramahotel in the Erzgebirge. After the last guests arrived and settled into their rooms, all participants met at the hotel buffet and let the evening wind down in a relaxed manner.
After a joint breakfast on Saturday, it was time to "wax the skis and hit the slopes." While some colleagues sped down the ski slopes, others enjoyed the best weather with cross-country skiers in the winter forest. The rest of the colleagues took the gondola up to Fichtelberg, to then make their way down to the valley through knee-deep snow. After a short break in the afternoon, precision and skill were required during the subsequent curling. The mulled wine served in the cold temperatures warmed and lifted the spirits. Those who could not find joy in the cold activity enjoyed the luxurious wellness area in the hotel. We spent the evening together in the hotel's fireplace room. A brief retrospective on the history of the software company from Dresden was given by Managing Director Bernd Koschitzki. Afterwards, a lavish buffet was served, which left nothing to be desired. Following dinner, conversation flowed in a relaxed atmosphere before we were invited to dance to live music. While the majority of the guests slowly retreated later in the evening, the hardy colleagues plunged into a nighttime tobogganing adventure on "Porutschern" down to the valley. Sunday was dedicated to regeneration and a relaxed journey home in the afternoon.
We can look back on a communal weekend with excellent winter weather and look forward to the next trip.
